This time last year......

How have you grown since July of last year?

Can you recall any conflicts you were having? Have they been resolved?

What do you plan to work on or strive for this next year?

What acheivemnts have you made since then?
I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure
I layed down with love and I woke up with lies
Whats it all worth only the heart can measure
It's not whats in the mirror but what's left inside

starting to remember that I am more then a caregiver

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

How have you grown since July of last year?
Absolutely . . . I spent a year living on my own for the first time yay!

Can you recall any conflicts you were having? Have they been resolved?
Yes, but I won't discuss it and no, it hasn't been resolved sad

What do you plan to work on or strive for this next year?
School. I really slacked off this past semester and I need to get myself back on track.

What achievements have you made since then?
Like I said above, I lived on my own and I'm still alive so that is an achievement lol

I raised my gpa by a couple of points so that was great.

Yes and no. I have just about resolved a business meltdown that a year ago seemed certain to drive me into bankruptcy. Now, I think I've got it worked out and will come out OK.

On the other hand, this is the first major failure I've had and even though I know everyone has this kind of stuff happen sooner or later, it has shaken my confidence in ways I never saw coming.

So, I need to shake my self-pitying ass out of the doldrums and take advantage of the opportunities that are right in front of me.

How have you grown since July of last year?
I finished school, received my license for cosmetology and now working at an all men's salon.

Can you recall any conflicts you were having? Have they been resolved?
No and I get over things once they are resolved. I have the mindset now of just letting things go. No point in holding on to them shrug

What do you plan to work on or strive for this next year?
I plan on making a few things official and moving.

What achievements have you made since then?
See first comment. lol I can say now that I am getting paid for something I love doing and that I don't "have" to rely on any one.

I have drifted very far apart form some lifelong friends in the past yr

I do not think they were/are able to handle their thoughts / feelings about what was/is happening in my life

I have made a couple new wonderful incredible friends in the past yr that have stood by me and supported me in ways I never though I needed

and I would like to Thank one person here ... for praising - pushing - holding my hand and slapping my face all when I needed exactly those things the most

Anyone else feel they understood everything in perfect harmonic convergence when they were children and are now challenged and broken down by uncountable forces to unlearn all these things, to detune your perfect frequency, so we can learn once agaithrough education and experience what we were born with - in other words to achieve actual gratification and intimate knowledge of the steps - the grain to the space between - on this directionless ladder spinning in deep dimentional flux towards the highest variable of true enlightemnet achievable to these odd biological formations on this sick speck of space dust?

time does allow situations to evolve, and hopefully resolve. We stress over it, because we would hope to control things, but in reality we can only control some things.
things are better this year than last.

Hells yeah! That's why I love my students so much... kids really do know it all, it's growing up that turns your soul and mind into blank wall space.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

And anyway, I was taking about pre-school. People should be frozen between the ages of five and 27.

Anxiety

i was in the last stretch of a dying relationship last year

i was dealing with scary family medical crisis

i was feeling really trapped and isolated and gross

to be honest, i know good things happened last summer, but i can't remember what they were at this moment.

#####

THIS YEAR, i'm in a new relationship which is amazing and helping to totally recharge my life

i'm dealing with a new round of family medical drama, unfortunately sigh

i'm still feeling kinda isolated but at least now i know it's temporary and i'm gonna have to deal with being in a really UNisolated world very soon woot!

lots of good things are happening this summer. it's been amazing. great music. spending lots of time with good friends. lots of traveling and change. nod

lol I say 3 is the perfect age. You can talk and walk and use the potty, mostly, by yourself. The rest of the day is just spent exploring.

I'm looking forward to senility myself. Being able to piss myself and watch Family Fortunes all day sounds grand. Family Fortunes never lets you down. I'd be able to watch the same episode again and again and never get bored. I could rediscover Parade. "Who's this Prince guy? Wow, funky. I like how he makes up his own gender, race & spirituality and bows to no man-made doctrane." "Eh, grandpa..."

How have you grown since July of last year?
I think in some small ways. I also feel like I haven't moved forwards in about 2 years.

Can you recall any conflicts you were having? Have they been resolved?
Pretty much still having same conflicts now as then.

What do you plan to work on or strive for this next year?
I am trying to focus on something to work towards. My marriage seems to work best if we have a common goal to work towards, at the moment he has one and I don't.

What acheivemnts have you made since then?
I have survived, my kids are reading voraciously - though I don't think I can take full credit for them being little smarties.
