Refreshing summer beverage recipes!

It is currently 94 degrees F in Seattle. dead

But! I have a refreshing summer beverage.

Recipe:

2 limes, quartered
Handful of fresh mint leaves
1/2 cucumber, sliced
Sweetener (optional)

Get a BIG jar or pitcher.

Bruise the mint leaves a bit, either by scrunching them in your hands a few times or with a mortar/pestle/whatever. Drop them into the pitcher with the sliced cucumber. Squeeze the lime wedges into the pitcher, and then go ahead and toss those in as well. You can add some sugar or stevia at this point if you want, though I think it tastes better without sweetener. Fill the pitcher to the top with cold water (and ice, if you want). Consume at will.

It tastes yummiest after several hours in the fridge. nod

Add your recipes, please. smile

1. Go to supermarket.
2. Purchase non-alcoholic beer and/or lemonade.
3. Sit out on terrace and imbibe.

I been liking these right cold out of the fridge. Afternoon and In the middle of the night. They taste like grapefruit juice without the bitter.

The only recipe I got is, drink it from the can right from the fridge. cloud9

1. Buy some frozen berries ( mixed berries, including blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, some cherries ) ...

2. Put them in a blender, blend for just a few seconds...( optional )

3. Add apple juice ( diluted with 30 or 40 % water )..

4. Add icecubes ( preferably made from apple juice or cherry juice )

5. Put it all in a big pitcher or straight into big glasses....enjoy !

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
