classic. my friend's car ran out one time. and it was pouring rain in oakland! it's always raining when that happens.

i've ran out of gas plenty of times...but I knew it was happening....WELL aware of how much gas i had....

I used to run outta gas all the time. Not because my gas gage was not working but because I was always convinced that I had at least 10km more left in gas, even when the needle was buried below the E.

Top of the E? Lots left! Middle of the E? Almost time to think about getting gas. Bottom of the E? Should probably get gas soon....but I always tried to go a little further.

That happened to me once...my gas gage didn't work at all, the first time it happened I thought i conked out, but it went a little more, but then when i went to go home, the going was getting no where lol. I called my dad, he was sleeping, so let's just say I made that my first and last time running out of gas.

but then again, i killed that car anyway, but thats another story

All I know is that the needle-thingy, in my car can go down past the empty, go back up again and by the time it goes back down I have to get to a gas station. I often do this, sweating all the way to the station. I can usually go for about 30 miles like that. I love my HONDA.
