I dunno what's up with this man, but his voice just makes me shiver.. It's amazing, I could just listen to him talk for hours... He's so charismatic..
Also: Johnny Depp Jack Nicholson Dustin Hoffman Brad Pitt (His good stuff, eg. 12 monkeys, Fight Club, Sleepers, Interview with the Vampire, Snatch..) Bill Nighy Peter Sellers Bill Murray (Adore his silent comedy roles, eg. Wes Anderson films..) *** Kate Winslet Cate Blanchett For some reason can't think of many great female actors.. Too bad, cause I know there are brilliant ones out there.. Allow me to introduce: Ms. Onder and Mrs. Donk! (o)(o)
They now belong to BigBearHermy.

I don't watch many movies, so I guess I don't really have any favorite actors/actresses. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Unfortunately, he doesn't act anymore, but I've always really enjoyed seeing Spike Lee onscreen in his own projects. He's hilarious.
I can't think of anyone else I'd just automatically want to check out. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

She's my go-to actress when I'm in the mood for French cinema, but I will never again watch her in an English-language film. Her Franglais drives me up the friggin' wall! [Edited 7/17/07 21:03pm] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Some actors, like John Malkovich, Harvey Keitel, or Tilda Swinton, however, you can choose the caliber of film by their presence in it. Tilda Swinton used to be on my list even though Female Perversions had me . Then she did that Narnia movie. I can't see that. add edit [Edited 7/11/07 15:15pm] I almost posted Tilda, but she's not bulletproof of late. She actually was pretty decent in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, but even she couldn't retain dignity in Constantine. [Edited 7/17/07 21:05pm] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Came out a month or so ago. It's pretty intense.

I can't think of anyone else I'd just automatically want to check out. I have the opposite reaction. Fantastic director, bad actor. He nearly derailed Mo' Better Blues for me. I find him distracting on screen.
