Some actors do crap, but I'd watch them anyway:
Steve Martin De Niro Some are almost always a pleasure to watch: Jack Nicholson Brando Pacino Dustin Hoffman Some take it really seriously and basically are always great, like Daniel Day Lewis Meryl Streep Sean Penn Some make good choices, like: Leonardo DiCaprio Tom Cruise (hate they guy, but like some of his movies) Brad Pitt And some are up and coming legends, like Clive Owen Don Cheadle [Edited 7/11/07 13:17pm] My Legacy

Some actors, like John Malkovich, Harvey Keitel, or Tilda Swinton, however, you can choose the caliber of film by their presence in it. Tilda Swinton used to be on my list even though Female Perversions had me  . Then she did that Narnia movie. I can't see that.
