None. I discriminate according to the movie itself or the director. If an actor I like plays in some fluff, then I won't see it.
Some actors, like John Malkovich, Harvey Keitel, or Tilda Swinton, however, you can choose the caliber of film by their presence in it.

Laurence Fishburne Johnny Depp Ving Rhames Jodie Foster Don Cheadle Anthony Hopkins Forrest Whittaker Kenneth Branagh Gabrielle Union Emma Thompson Nia Long Alfred Woodard I missed a couple I think.

I hear you on that & I agree, however they're probably looking @ the success Kyra Sedgwick has had w/ The Closer, how good the show is & the fact that she's WORKING - probably has an excellent schedule, can be w/ her family & not away on a set for months. From that perspective I respect their decisions & hope their shows turn out well

My answer would be none but there are several actors whose movies I will never see based on shoving political views down my throat. I mean Sean Penn could make a movie where he played Prince and then was drafted onto the Milwaukee Brewers and I'm still not seeing the thing.

I actually get tired of watching famous people over and over again. I like non-actors or unknown actors in movies. Then you can get absorbed in the character and story withouth thinking the whole time "I'm watching a Johnny Depp movie"
That's what bugged me about The Departed. It was so over-glutted with famous male actors, it was just a big showpiece. And though the story and movie were good as whole, it seemed obnoxious. [Edited 7/11/07 12:10pm]

. [Edited 7/11/07 11:22am] Don´t you think that that´s a bit too extreme ? There are a lot of Republicans whose films I really like even though I don´t agree with them when it comes to politics ( like those classic sci-fi flics with Charlton Heston, "The Omega Man", " Planet Of The Apes", "Soylent Green" etc., Arnold Schwarzenegger´s "Terminator",and his other classics, or that great movie he did with rightwing director John Milius, "Conan The Barbarian"...what a fantastic movie, or Sylvester Stallone....though Sly and Arnie are a bit eccentric when it comes to politics ...) These people also have a political agenda but that would not stop me from watching and enjoying their movies....Bruce Willis on the other hand is, IMO, totally unwatchable...even if he were a Democrat or some sort of ultra-liberal, I´d have to think twice before I even spend a few cents on his DVDs, let alone going to the movies to see him. Or Clint Eastwood...surely a rightwing actor, Republican to the bone but one of my all time favorite American actors and directors. What exactly is your problem with Sean Penn ? He made a lot of interesting movies, don´t you think ? " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Julia Roberts & Cameron Diaz are not what I'd consider "great voices." My Legacy
