I tell my boys they are beautiful, handsome, special, wonderful, awesome etc every day.
I think we are more aware of what is said and not said than our parents were.
as long as we change the pattern hopefully less and less children won't be told how great they are.

All young girls should be told they're pretty. I don't know too many youngsters that aren't to be honest. They may not grow up to be ravishing beauties, but IMO all young girls are pretty.

Beauty is also in the eye of the beholder. I do believe that.

I so believe that! Every person thinks differently about beauty. What one person might find beautiful, another would think not. To each his own I say.
