I hate when the cable company tells you that their "technician" will be here around a certain time and then they don't show up. THOSE DAMN CABLE GUYS!!!! Now i'm here waiting around trying to kill time until he shows up. And get this a storm is coming up around here too, so I bet now he's probably at McDonald's eating a cheeseburger saying "oh well a storm is coming, that 30 more minutes of free time that I have".....

Don't even get me started on the cable company. I am about ready to Molotov cocktail the local Charter office.

i called the cable company just now to see if they could give me an ETA on his whereabouts, but the line is busy...do they know that they are fucked???

I asked him an interesting question the last time I saw him though....

You know how when they say, " Okay Mr. Phillips, the technician will be there between 12 and 4" ? Well I asked him.....how do you get to be the 12 person? I mean really....when they say there is a window, who is the first appointment and how did they get that slot?

I asked him and he said..... (drumroll)..... NOBODY! If they say between 12 and 4, the 430 person may be the FIRST appointment of the day!

I told him I should get to kick him in the ass once for every half hour over I have to wait... he said he'd be a sore assed mf'r.....

So why do they give you that bogus window anyway? Why don't they say that a technician will be there at 1pm? Is there a shortage of cable technicians in the country?
