Not all the time. Closer to my brother than sister but we barely see each other these days.

Great thing about siblings is that they tend to share the same sorta humour as you. Bad thing is they also know how to annoy the fuck outta you. But when we were all kids, we had some great times unique to us only, and that is something I will always be grateful for. The heirachy is funny aswell.

I was the youngest of 3 and so got the hand me down clothes and toys at times, got made fun of for being the youngest, being the "mummy's boy" (which i always denied LOL), always got picked on first to do dares etc...., but yeah good times LOL

falloff BWOI if that ain't the TRUTH!! I used to HATE my brother and sister when I was younger, but now I can't imagine life without them. They truly make my life richer, and I am SO blessed to have them. I'm 24, my sis is 22, and my bro will be 18 in a couple weeks. I love them to death and beyond the grave, and we're 3 clowns. We drive my mom CRAZY when the 3 of us are togehter. And we all think each of us are the funnier ones. We have the same sense of humor, but from 3 different perspectives. Me, I'm the one who makes the truth funny, My sis can take something bad that happens to her and make you laugh SO hard from it..Example, one time her bf tried to break up with her and said he "needed space", and she said "That nigga said he needed space. Space? I let him run around butt naked in a cornfield for 3 days if he wants SPACE" falloff, and my brother is just a goofball. He says something funny as HELL when you don't expect it. We used to stay up late and talk until late in the morning and my mom would get on us because she heard us laughing the whole way down the hall in her bedroom. And ya'll have seen my sense of humor on here. Oh man, I didn't mean to write all this it's just that I miss them SO much and we're spread all through the country. My bro is in PA, i'm in CA, and my sis is in GA. cry

Yeah, Iam glad for the memories I have with my siblings aswell. Most of them stem before any of us hit our teenage years though. For years, we were distant, but everyone grows up and we accept that we do not have similer tastes like we use to have as kids. Infact, we are all in our 20's now, and all 3 of us are in the back of my dads car, mum in the front, Dad driving, and we are going 500 miles car journey to a funeral. Now we barely see eachother or speak to eachother, but like you said, when we all come together, it can be a riot!.

We still know eachothers little quirks and certain instances and memories and we were all laughing in the car, all the way to the funeral. Its bad I know. Infact, even when we got to the funeral, we were getting out of the car laughing a little. Highly bad taste I know. But, as horrible as this sounds, the car trip was great as reminded us that we miss eachother sometimes.

Siblings are a trip and can still be great company. Particually when we talk about the past, which is very rare and thus still seems funny to us. But still, I would not like to see both of them everyday anymore. lol

My brother's and I have never not gotten along. I'm not as close to one of them as I used to be but we all still get along great.

uh, no... I have a brother who's three years older than I am and we've never gotten along, as we've matured we've learned to tolerate and deal with each other...from a comfortable distance.

Cool. Iam being realistic but I know me and my siblings will drift apart even more over the years. We became or have become very different people. I know for example not to even bother talking to my sister on politics. But also, me and my brother know talking about immigrants in the UK, pisses my sister off to no end, and thus silly shit like that, is just the sort of "teasing" or "baiting" we use to do as little kids. So, the issues may of changed, but we still know eachother quite well at the moment.

not all the time. I grew up an only child but when i was 10 my parents told me that i had a half sister (my dad a had child from a previous relationship before he met my mother), and because we never grew up together we are very different people, like strangers. When we see each other, it's like how you see your neighbor in a public place or somebody from work, it's like "hi how are you doing? How's your family? Okay well talk to you later then, nice seeing you again..". There was a point where when I was a teenager we were getting pretty close, but then when i noticed that she wasn't calling to wish me a happy birthday on my birthday as I did for her, calling me to see how i was doing like i would her, or seeing if I wanted to hangout like i did for her, then i stopped trying. I was like fuck it, i'm not going to put energy into something that somebody else isn't. So we're basically estranged. She had two kids too, and I don't really know them either.

Maybe that sounds bad on my part. I should be the bigger person, but there is only so much bullshit that a person should take from somebody. Family included.

I love this about hispanic families, eating together on the weekends...
When my Mother and Father were alive, we ate sunday dinner at their house every sunday, no matter what.
Once my parents passed away, the tradition was lost. I miss that. sad

No. I have a younger sister who can't help herself but say mean things to me. She lacks empathy for my feelings.

out of my parents relationship i'm the only one out of their union

my mother had a son previous 2 my conception and we grew up 2gether. we get along but at times we're very much night and day. sometimes, and it been said, that it seems i'm older than he is and give him guidance instead of the other way around.

my father had 4 daughters b4 coming 2 this country. and because of the language barrier, we never were close. and now after my father passed away and the bullshit they stirred up during his final days, then can all kiss my ass! fuck em!
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

i always find it interesting that after somebody dies, then people start popping up everywhere demanding to take charge of any "money" or snooping around to see if any money was left behind of the deceased. Family members seem to be the worst when it comes to this. Acting like somebody owes them something, I'm always willing and ready to pull out the boxing gloves when somebody close to me dies.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
