My wife is addicted to this show...Shes so addicted that she helped me paint and primer our fence today. Now she wants to spnge paint one of our walls

I like when people on the show are pissed at the outocmes of what their "friends" did to their rooms

a lot of these people have no taste.

i wish they wouild come up with new theme music

Paige Davis' cutesy perkiness makes me want to claw out my eyeballs.

Otherwise, good show. I like the English version of this show - "Changing Rooms" even better, however.

Anybody see the episode of "Trading Spaces" where the lady had a meltdown when she saw they'd painted her fireplace? Classic!

(although i agree they shouldn't have done that. she specifically told them not to touch her fireplace..)

My bf was telling me about that woman and the fireplace. Poor gal... sometimes they do the ugliest shit. Like when they covered the walls of that beautiful bathroom with fake flowers.

The episode with the "fireplace incident" is a classic. Doug (the designer) was a real idiot. A good designer aims to please the client, not piss 'em off. BTW - they didn't actually paint the fireplace, they covered it with wood paneling. read in a follow-up that the owners had to rip it off because it covered up the gas line shut-off valve and was illegal.

Hey Natsume - I actually came face-to-face with Vern one day last summer. He was shopping at HMB and I ran into him. I didn't say anything 'cuz I wasn't sure it was him at the time...but now I'm certain it was.
