It was hectic, bad, good, and slow all at the same time, but I have one question.....










OMFG HOW STUPID CAN PEOPLE AND THEIR KIDS BE?????!!!!!

I started on Thursday and wanted to quit by Friday
Right now, I'm operating the children's rides and thought it would be a pretty enjoyable job.....WRONG, first my co-worker trained me for a ride, but gave me wrong information or some details. Then the parents let kids run rampant! Not all of the customers were rude or ignorant, but the ones that were, they must have put effort and worked on their stupity because by the time they came to my ride, they put one their A game Some kids were wonderful and polite and had a great time, but those bad asses ruined my day to no end.
Their parents didn't say a damn word and some laughed about it!

My head hurts from having such a crazy week but hopefully it'll get better

I'd love to work at a theme park, but yeah I'm sure it'd be bittersweet. You know getting to ride rides for free, but having to deal with the general public by the masses. Do you get discounts for friends or family? They should have a worker's day where the park closes to the public and employees invite their friends there and just go crazy.

I worked in the administrative offices of Six Flags Great America.

Fun job, but you're right, the rude people stand out and can make a hard day just the WORST!!!

For some reason, some folks just think that because you work in customer service, they have the right to treat you like shit. It totally says more about their ignorant asses then it says about you (in ANY way). When I run into people like that, to this day, I just remember that I only have to deal with the person for a small amount of time...they LIVE with themselves 24/7
