Sit n' Spin Okay, someone posted this pic on another thread (don't ask) and it brought up memories. Memories of sitting and spinning for hours on end until my mother had to finally take the toy away! I am convinced, having worked with special ed kids, that this toy was/is beneficial for those with movement/attention/processing problems we see in the classroom. One student I had last year was okay as long as he had something to fidget with, otherwise he was out of control. And let's face it, it would be a good alternative to Ridalin (something I always thought schools should have on a salt-lick, but I digress). Adults would still love Sit n' Spin!!! They should make an adult version of this thrill ride. I miss it!!!

After Lite Brite was mentioned, I thought about PJ Sparkles, I guess the whole "light up" thing made me think of it....it was a popular 80's doll that I used to have. She used to wear a bow and jewelry that lit up when you pressed her stomach. I still have some of my 80's toys. Cabbage Patch dolls are classic, and I'm proud to still have my original one and the cruddy 90's ones that don't compare to the 80's. Women went bat shit crazy over those.....don't know how my mom managed to get one. I know I still have my Heart to Heart bears....I named them "Candy 1" (the old worn out one) and "Candy 2" (the newer one). The heart used to beat whenever you hugged them. I slept with that thing every night. Still have my Pound puppies, My Pet Monster, Teddy Ruxpin, and Pound Kittens too.....all packed away somewhere. This is how clutter accumulates. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

i had one as a child. my son has one now. everytime kids come here to visit, they fight over it. i've had to hide it when he has play dates sometimes to calm the wars.

I'm kinda depressed about never having a Power Wheels either. I remember riding my younger cousin's one.....at the age of 17. Man, it felt good to drive that thing for the first time. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)
