If I do not want to be bothered... I let if go to voice mail, then screen my calls. Just because I have a cell doesn't mean I will answer no matter what.

I can live without a cell phone because I prefer to speak to the person in person, but I do need a cell phone. I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

I use my cellphone more as an alarm clock and for playing games than for actual talking

to all of you who say you need your phone to keep track of your kids, how did your parents keep track of you? You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

Different times brotha...when we grew up, you could play outside and not worry about safety (that much). I remember being gone from morning til sundown...nowadays, kids can't even play in their front yards without someone watching them. Also, back then, two parents usually didn't work...it's almost a must for both parents to work in todays world. Ah, the good ole days... Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

[Edited 7/6/07 15:10pm] Oh me too Veronica! What if my kids need me, what if I am in an accident and need help pronto! A few weeks ago, my car stalled. My husband was there like my knight in shinning armor in a flash!! In a sense, I feel children with cell phones use them as safety guards and can abuse them. When I was a child, I was without a cell, and I had to tell my parents where I was, how long I would be, and when I would be home. I do think kids with cell phones abuse this. They KNOW their parents can contact them, and they can switch off or ignore the call, with numerous excuses. Therefore they would never dare go to a public telephone box and tell their parents where they are. I think alot of kids have it too easy these days.

But trouble has been always there. As a parent you could of say that when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, or during the Cuban missle crisis, or during the Atlanta child murders.
