I don't have one, have never had one, and wouldn't take one if you gave it to me for free. There are times that I don't want to be bothered and, if you have a cell phone, you have no excuse to tell people that you didn't want to be bothered with, why you didn't answer the phone.

If I do not want to be bothered... I let if go to voice mail, then screen my calls. Just because I have a cell doesn't mean I will answer no matter what.

I can live without a cell phone because I prefer to speak to the person in person, but I do need a cell phone.
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

Different times brotha...when we grew up, you could play outside and not worry about safety (that much). I remember being gone from morning til sundown...nowadays, kids can't even play in their front yards without someone watching them.

Also, back then, two parents usually didn't work...it's almost a must for both parents to work in todays world.

Ah, the good ole days...lol
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

In a sense, I feel children with cell phones use them as safety guards and can abuse them.

When I was a child, I was without a cell, and I had to tell my parents where I was, how long I would be, and when I would be home.
I do think kids with cell phones abuse this. They KNOW their parents can contact them, and they can switch off or ignore the call, with numerous excuses. Therefore they would never dare go to a public telephone box and tell their parents where they are.

I think alot of kids have it too easy these days. confused

If my daughter ignores my calls when she is at a friends house she will not go anywhere again and I usually have her call me from the house phone that she is at not her cell phone just to make sure she is there. kids can be too sneaky

To some extent yes, depends on where you live. But trouble has been always there. As a parent you could of say that when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, or during the Cuban missle crisis, or during the Atlanta child murders.
