I'm happy because my wonderfully patient super wonderful boyfriend just upgraded our crap 100 section tickets to general admission at the White Stripes show at the Garden. I saw Jack from far away once and I did not like it at all. I have to be close enough to make eye contact.

Lets just hope that Rich doesn't stick his tongue out and make crazy eyes in Mr. White's face, again, at this show. Although I do enjoy Jack's WTF? face.

So what made your day today?

My sweetie and I found a great place to rent. I'm absolutely thrilled with it. It's a little pricey, but worth being poor for. It's right by my favorite park (Gasworks), so close to Lake Union that we can walk our kayaks down to it, on the edge of one of the funnest neighborhoods in the city (Fremont, self-declared "center of the universe"). It has two full bathrooms, so I can have my own ( ), and TONS of closet space. . . I'll get my own walk-in closet with a window in it! After two years of living in a small space with one tiny bedroom closet and no other storage, it'll be heaven. There are french doors off the bedroom to a little sundeck. Hardwood floors. A garage for the kayaks. And a washer and dryer! OMG!
