Here in Oakland they use goats to clean up the hillsides of brush. So you'll drive around and occasionally see the massive herd of goats (1000 or more) on some hill.

Of course, since it's Oakland, some fool had to shoot a few recently.

People eat goat meat in mexico also, actually very tasty. It is cooked in a pit underground and called barbacoa. I am not sure about the spelling on that, sorry.

I remember that once when I went to DR, I was staying at my grandmother's house for a couple of weeks and they had a goat and I loved it sooooo much .Then before my family returned to New York, we had a big party and they killed the goat and cooked it for everyone. I refused to eat it and cried during the whole party. I was pissed! mad

That sounds like my every summer in mexico! We visited every summer as kids, and my Mom would try and keep us from giving names to all of grandmothers farm animals, just in case it happened to be the evenings dinner! omg

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.
