This is the number one reason why all people should have to take at least one photography course in their life, to see how fake these images are.
Very in-depth reporting on the site too. "Rods were discovered in 1994...they're everywhere!" LOL I think i spotted a new species of mysterious invisible animals too called rings, you can only see them against really bright lites. Excuse me while I go take some ridiculously blurry pictures of them that prove nothing.

Excuse me while I go take some ridiculously blurry pictures of them that prove nothing. This is slightly unfair. In the programme there is some high quality video which seems quite convincing (filmed in a famous central american cave/place for base jumpimg, if I remember - this screened in NZ about 3 months ago). The 'rod' can be seen moving across the background at high speed. Sure, the whole thing could simply have been faked - which in this age of CGI would be pretty easy - but there seems to be something more going on than lens flare.

Why wasn't this covered on X-Files 8 years ago? If these rods warranted any attention, surely they would've dedicated an episode to them. They're my measure of scifi reality.

Unless of course the creators of the X-files are part of the conspiracy...

I didnt realize how nasty my post sounded till I went back and looked over it. Im sorry. I have all those time life books for Mysteries Of The Unexplained. I used to be obsessed with ghosts and ufos. Later on i ended up getting a bfa in photography, and looking back at alot of those images, there's a ton of details proving almost all of them are fake. They seemed really cool at the time tho, lol. I'll keep an eye out for when this video airs.

My 2 cents is that I think they're some sort of insect or creature that we haven't been able to see before because they move too fast, but that now we're seeing them we will change our views on certain things. I think they're kinda like those stereograph things, where until you know there's something there, you wouldn't think to look
