Name your best local wine.

I like Linganore Wineries' Steeple Chase Red and Black Raven. Those are local red wines from Maryland.
Nice flavor, kinda dry like I like it. Any other winos on the org?

Gimme a nice local vino (preferably red but some dry whites will do). I'll try it and maybe let you know of I like it.
Where are the Australian orgers? Italians?
Let's try to keep the prices reasonable people, no more than $35.00 US.

Long Island makes some really good wines believe it or not.

Paumanok makes a super-yummy cabernet lick (is that the correct term? confused )

And I think it was reasonably priced when I had it.

And there's one called Duck something or something Duck, I think.

We have a few good ones around here... We have the temecula wineries.

Wison Creek and Thorton being most known.

There is a cabernet/merlot mix that is to die for!

The Pacific Northwest produces some great wine. I've NEVER had a bad Oregon Pinot Noir (my fav drool), and Washington has lots of good wines, but I'd say its Rieslings are special (with similar growing conditions to parts of Germany). I think it's Columbia Crest that makes a Riesling Icewine (made from frozen grapes, so that extra water is lost as ice crystals and you get sort of a sweet, condensed wine). It's an incredible dessert wine. Very unique. Can be licked off of skin without the staining that you might get with Port or something. wink

Duplin. They are sweet wines. If you are in the mood grab it. From the North Carolina Coast. I dont like sweet but when I want it I drink Duplin

Rielsings are sooo sweet thought. They do some bad stuff to my tummy.
I think I wouldn't mind licking a nice port off of some sweet flesh though. Oregon Pinot Noir? that sounds more like my kinda wine.
