Yes, exactly. I don't like all the fluff in the pancakes. too spongy.
I like the thin and a little crusty on the edges crepes. with Maple syrup or Nutella spread, or anything else sweet. Though there are some good salty ones too.

Crepes are my favorite dessert. Even though sometimes it's the whole meal. drool

you can use them for tons of things besides the sweet fruity stuff

minced up onion with cheese and other fine choped veggies

all sorts of ways to eat CREPES drool

My favourites used to be from a now disappeared restaurant called The Magic Pan. They had a large station in the center of the dining area where you could watch them being made. There was one especially fabulous with fresh whole asparagus and a light white sauce and for dessert, a sweet black burgandy cherry with almond crepe that they would flambe'. It was insanely good.
