Top Ten:TV Theme Songs

You all know 'em, you all mostly love 'em, they can't seem to get outta your head. We sing along to them as soon as the first note is droped. Here's my Top Ten, not in any particular order.

1. The Jefferson's (I had this song as a ringtone on phone once.

2. Good Times (The Ultimate struggle song, but damn good)

3. The Facts of Life (Dumb ass song, but catchy, the hardest thug sung along to this one)

4. Different Strokes (The best part was the "hmmm" at the end of the song)

5. Shaft (This song screams ass whuppin')

6. Rawhide (I just like the whip sound)

7. Baretta (That white boy be "sangin")

8. Growing Pains (see #3, Sha la la laaa)

9. Moonloghting (You can't go wrong with Al singing the hook)

10. Sanford and Son (No lyrics, but when you heard it, you knew junk was for sale)

I'm sure I've missed some classic ones, but this is my top ten, what's yours???
Life my azz muthafucka, dis is a bitness!!

I love Gravy, I love Titties. I love Gravy Dipped Titties.

"Good Times
Any time you meet a payment
Good Times
Any time you meet a friend
Good Times
Any time you're out from under
Not gettin' hassled,not gettin' hustled
Keepin' your head above water
Makin' a wave when you can

Temporary lay-offs
Good Times
Easy credit rip-offs
Good Times
Scratchin and survivin'
Good Times
Hangin' in a jury
Good Times

Ain't we lucky we got 'em?
Good Times"

You know, when I think of "Makin It",I also think of a show called "Angie" which had a nice theme song called "Different Worlds".It's from the same period (1978/79).Do you remember that one?

I used to have a "Welcome Back Kotter" lunchbox smile

I wonder if anybody will list "The Brady Bunch" theme as one of their favorites?...LOL

Theme songs I love:

Twin Peaks- Angelo Badalamenti
The guy set the whole tone for the movie...Laura's Theme gets me everytime...

Snoops Theme "Where the Day Takes You" -Wendy & Lisa
The extended version just rocks...okay, maybe im being partial...sue me...hehehehehehehe

The Gary Shandling Show-
This is the theme to the Gary Shandling Show. How do you like it so far? Gary called me up and asked if I would do the credits...Im also to the part where, I start to whistle...then we'll watch the Gary Shandling Show...lol

Alan Thicke Medley "Facts of Life/Different Strokes"-
They just dont make great theme songs anymore...sigh

The Tracy Ullman Show-George Clinton?
Didnt he do this funky track for Tracy? Everybody...its time to go, tim getting down getting ready for the show...and if your thinking you (then I forget the rest).

I Love Love Lucy-
Hollywood Class

Twilight Zone Theme-
Didnt Rod Sterling write his own theme? Creepy, chilling yet simple...Just like the show itself.

How about the "Cheers" theme song, "you wanna go where everybody knows your name..."

Yeah, the "Sopranos" also, "woke up this morning, got myself a gun..."

Others, hard 2 get out of ur mind:

The Brady Bunch
Gilligan's Island
I Dream Of Jeanie
The Jetsons
The Flintstones
The Courtship Of Eddie's Father "People let me tell you 'bout my best friend..."

I'll think of more later!

Hey, good thread!
