I think that was the most freakiest/fascinating thing I have ever seen. No one ever writes/films that much on conjoined twins, except for a blip here or there about separation surgery.

My only question is how they are joined in respect to how it would effect them later in life. Can one die of old age before the other?

I found it fascinating.

They didn't seem to present the challenges of being conjoined though. I appreciate that it attempts to make us understand that they're "normal" despite living as conjoined twins, though I would hope people are mature enough to come to that conclusion on their own. But I think it would be just as affective to show what challenges they have, etc. to help all those folks who look and go disbelief or eek to empathize.

Also, Mr. Boorziki is hot.

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Interesting, two stomachs but one intestine, 3 1/2 lungs and 2 hearts. Also interesting that they do not share sensations.

Sounds to me like it's very possible that one could die and major, major surgery would be required to save the other.

Oddly, I've thought about that too.

When one passes, it would need immediate attention, unless they've made some kind of a pact not to take it to that level. I just don't know.

And though I totally agree that we should see them for how silimar they are to us, I can't help but think "Thank gawd, I was born as I am". I do hope they find fulfilling lives. Heaven knows it's rough enough for non conjoined folks.

The thing is, they seems amazingly well adjusted and appear to have a large group of friends and acquaintances that see them for the individuals they really are... I have no doubt there are challenges in their life that we couldn't begin to dream of but it looks like they've not only survived but thrived in their current environment.

I just worry that their unique medical/physical situation makes any semi-serious illness an issue. The fact they share a blood stream makes certain things rather tricky, too.

Yeah I saw the news special (was it on 20/20?) that showcased these...er this...er themz girl(s).

They are fortunate in that their parents and their community seems to be very supportive and open-minded about their condition.

In fact, their School had to deal with certain unique issues like; How do you give them separate tests and prevent Cheating?

It's a very inspirational story.

You've stated a valid point indeed.
