i ask this question,because i might want to major(or become) a psychologist does anyone have like any handy tips! i'm thinking either child psychology or something with writting on psychology

I majored in psychology in college but I switched majors in junior year

I'd taken all of these communications courses (lucrative! ) just out of interest, so I figured I'd go where my brain was taking me already. I can't say I recommend it though

Don't stress, it's really all gonna be fine. There's so much life after college, nothing is in stone. Whatever your major you can still go into other areas - just follow your heart, it's all an experience

i know this sounds really obvious, but just take a bunch of classes- stuff you think you like, things somewhat related to that, & even subjects you think you might hate. you never know

My advice is talk to your professors. Ask them how did they choose their field of study.

weepingwall, are you going into undergrad?

uh, yeah, I'm a psychology major as well.

I know of a psychologist/psychiatrist on the org, but I'm not saying who they are.
