OK, just know that the fat free is really thick and creamy. It even says so on the label. I didn't try the regular stuff. It may be even more firm!

Actually, I may hold off until tomorrow morning if I don't go kayaking. The drive to "New Tampa" is actually well over an hour if you factor evening traffic, and I just don't know if I could live with myself if I took 2 hours of my life in pursuit of yogurt.

Yeah, you really should get out and socialize more, too. I mean, even I wouldn't skip drinks for Target.

Oh, I'm going to get out of drinking one way or another. The crowd that I would be drinking with like football. Um, and basketball. I can't deal with that while drinking.

Anyone got a headache tablet?? dead lol

So, random thoughts:

~ I was slightly late meeting my colleagues (surprise, surprise whistling redface) but who the hell goes to a party at 7pm?? confused (My boss only wanted to get there early, schmooze and make a good impression rolleyes). Luckily, my other colleagues waited at a bar for me. smile

~ very rarely will you hear me say something like this but I looked fucking dandy last night, if I say so myself. mr.green Sorry, that may sound arrogant but that suit hit the spot. wink I must wear it more often.

~ I did not get drunk, thankfully; a little tipsy but most of the evening was this weird feeling of being high on adrenalin/nerves. The last thing I wanted to do was insult/make a pass at/fall over someone I've yet to work with. confused lol

~ the food was nice and we got three free drinks; the rest were subsidised woot! It's an office - so all the crap and politics that goes with it, by design, are still there (certain Managers were throwing their weight around) - but they really do seem to treat their staff a lot better than the office I work(ed) in. nod A lot more relaxed, down-to-earth and concerned about how their staff feel. Of course, I have yet to work there but the initial signs are positive. thumbs up!

~ having said that, once again I realise schmoozing is an art I really need to develop. lol It's not something I'm particularly successful at (not if I don't feel like it, that is). I really must get out of office culture. I don't care who does what, works for whomever, earns this much, sleeps with such-and-such, is this that or whatever bored So much of office culture is based on acting a certain way or being seen to say the right things to the right people. neutral Bore off.

~ most of the night, other partygoers just looked at our table with this 'Who the hell are they?/What are they doing here?' confuse expression. It was quite amusing, in some ways. giggle

~ I did my standard imaginary castanet 'click' when dancing to 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody'. lol vainandy would've loved it. lol

~ the band played a lot of George Benson.

~ tearful colleague moment: I had to escort my boss to a taxi after a guy managed to pour half his bottle of beer down her dress. She was NOT impressed.

~ a girl I used to be in school with was there (my main memory of her being that she was a hardcore Extreme fan giggle and she once scolded me for saying I 'fancied' someone. Didn't I know you had a 'crush' on someone?? rolleyes rolleyes falloff). We didn't speak last night but I'm sure our paths will cross at some point. nod

~ there are some very sexy men in my new office razz woot! lol

~ also, there are some very friendly people working there. nod Had a few nice conversations with people I will be working with soon.

~ the night was topped off by a visit to a gay bar with a colleague telling me all about the four-year gay relationship that no-one else knows about. omfg touched I got harrassed by some guy and rolled in around 5am. Oh, and a drunk middle-aged woman tried it on in Miss Millies. falloff

All in all, a pretty good night! thumbs up! smile Now I gotta find that headache tablet. dead

Lars is walking the dog, we were out all afternoon, shopping, of course. I bought a few socks and two t-shirts. One sleeveless, but I am too sissy to wear it tonight. I will just have to rely on my boots, white t-shirt and dazzling smile.

Tonight we are going to the a bar I am sure would interest a certain participating Orger on this thread. Hehehe.

Even though he seems to ignore me, I still love him.

I had a divine breakfast with a friend this morning. cloud9

And I picked up stuff to bring for the BBQ I'm attending this afternoon/evening. I'm making a salad of spinach, green onions, strawberries and pecans with a rosemary/balsamic vinagrette. And bringing a bunch of fresh asparagus to grill. yummmmm.
