I HEART the SHEKRA

.

http://www.youtube.com/wa...iWaXwWxwq4

The first drop is 200+ feet, at a 90 degree vertical angle (straight down to hell) and the first loop keeps you weightless for either 4 or 6 seconds or something (I can't remember), and the second drop is 130 feet through a tunnel that ends with a large water splash.

It's intense. It's great fun. And it doesn't make your stomach queezy with 8 or 9 loops like some of the other big ticket coasters at Busch Gardens Tampa.

I love this ride.

I think I've ridden it like 30 times.

What is your favorite ride?

I had a blast the last time I was there but we did not get to ride Skekra because they had it stopped when we made it over to that section of the park.
The thrill seeker that I was with was disappointed and I was secretly happy inside because I had already been on a few rides by then and I had already made myself look and sound like an idiot in front of him.
We had a blast though.
Next time we will do Shekra nod

First!

This one isn't as intense as far as the first drop goes.

It's the Gwazi at Busch Gardens. I've ridden this maybe 40 times lol

It's awesome cause it has two completely different tracks, the "Lion" and the "Tiger" which are completely different. One of the tracks is all about air time, while the other one is a slolum style ride that whips your ass back and forth. Both rides shake case it's wooden which adds a whole new dimension to the ride.

The Montu is cool. It doesn't shake. It has about 8 loops though so If I've just eatin or some shit, I get queezy. I've ridden it so many times I don't think I get all that scared anymore, but it's pretty intense.

I get sick on the Kumba.

That shit is too long and too many loops. It's very repetitious after the 4th loop.

I agree..I never got sick - though I did not realise it had so many loops- probably because my eyes are shut and I am screaming my ass off the whole time! lol

love That looks amazing. I've only been to Busch Gardens one time.....years ago. We went on Thanksgiving day, so the park was almost a ghost town. We rode ride after ride with no wait. The only ride that had an actual line was The Montu....it had first opened, so yeah it was maybe 10 years ago. We had a blast, I do know that. I like so many coasters.....The Vortex is one of them. It was the only one as a child that I turned down the first time around.....now I always ride it. The Ninja's pretty cool too.....lots of loops and corkscrews.
