I know several fathers who are stay at home dads raising their kids while the mother is out being the bread winner, that's what works for them and their family. I also know fathers who have full custody of their kids because the mothers are nowhere to be found, unfit or just don't want to be the primary parent any more. So the argument of how men should step up is lost on me after a point because I look at and know quite a few in that percentage of men who do the quote unquote right thing.

I was having this discussion with a friend recently and it made me wonder what the general feelings are about this?

I was raised to believe that a woman should be BEHIND her man kinda watching his back ...as more of a support but not a complete equal to walk onside of the man? Now I am not talk about a lesser person but not as dominant role in every day decisions.....The man is the head and makes all Final decisions is what I was taught in Bible study as a baptist kid.

it seems because women have jobs and are allowed to think openly in public in the last 30 years or so that many women feel an equal or MORE than man?

I believe this is a major reason for the detioration of the family structure and high divorce race because you have man and woman thinkin they both are the lead..... wherever there are 2 chiefs and not enough Indians you have problems.....

What do you think about this?
