The lawn badly needed to be mowed ages ago, but then it started raining before I got to it and barely stopped for 2 weeks or so. Even when it did stop pouring down, it never seemed to dry up enough outside to get anything done.

So now we've got lawn sorely in need of a trim + 2 weeks worth of rain, and that = a fucking jungle in the backyard. I swear, I had giraffes.


The problem? All I've got is one of those freaky, old-fashioned push mowers, and at this point it was pretty damned useless. There's something to be said for modern technology. BUT! I do own a side-trimmer. So after some careful deliberation over what might have been a bit too much wine, I made a decision. What had to be done had to be done, gentlemen.


The results were a bit uneven, but I got it done in half the time and half the effort it would've taken me otherwise. I'm so mowing the lawn like this every time from now on.

I have a small backyard which is not worth the use of a lawn mower. I use my weed wacker, it does the job
