If I am leaving my house, I will always have a purse. I like to carry around a lot of stuff,like my cell phone, keys, wallet, lip glosses, mirror, my glasses, and my sunglasses. I can't carry all that stuff in my hands

Somebody told me that many pants made for women these days (especially designer ones) don't even have any pockets so unless you want to carry wallet and keys in your hand, you basically have to have a purse. Is that true or just a made-up excuse to buy more purses?

It's true. Most pants that I have the pockets are barely functional and skirts and dresses don't have them at all. I can fit a folded up couple of bills and maybe a key or two but anything bulkier ruins the line of the clothing.

It was expensive, since it was made by a famous designer here in Sweden and since it is of very good quality. The important thing is that the girl I got it for was very, very happy with it. It'd be interesting to hear other people's opinions though, just judging by this picture. I like the clean, simple design, but maybe to some it looks boring?

I don't use one...i prefer a backpack and that's what I'm known for.

I tend to buy more inexpensive purses and bags so that I can afford many. I think I brought 4 on my last trip even when I was traveling. I only have 2 designer bags and one I'm sure is a knock-off cause I got it on sale for $25 and it was only priced at $90 to begin with.

I know what you're saying about the prices. Some designer items can be ridiculously overpriced, especially the ones that make a big deal of the brand name and put it in a clearly visible place so the owner can show off. The designer who made the purse in the picture made a name for herself by making top quality items that just happened to be nice-looking as well though, so then it's worth the extra bucks.
