That's a lot of goddamned avatars! And some of them even featured sexy women!
I'm feeling pretty darn inadequate right now, but then my E.D. may be partly to blame as well. [Edited 6/28/07 12:56pm] My Legacy

I've gotten alot of complaints via orgnotes, in threads, etc. about my avvies of late. Though I view them as fun, people seem genuinly scared by them. So it got me thinking about all the ones I've used or created in the past and decided to finally update my avatars page on my homepage. These are avatars I used, or created for others, or toyed with and haven't yet used. what was your favorite avatar that you used? How long do you generally keep them? Are they important to you , or just something you use incidentally? My Avatar page: http://www.danonderdonk.c.../index.htm some of your best, imo: [Edited 6/28/07 14:51pm] Welcome to the New World Odor and

Imago said: what was your favorite avatar that you used? The one I have now is my fave (Marcel Duchamp clearing his sinuses), but before that I liked ones were Prince was making weird faces or Parade and Versace eras mostly. How long do you generally keep them?
Before this one, I would change 'em up every few months, I guess. Are they important to you , or just something you use incidentally?
The Prince ones were just images where I liked how he looked (same with Duchamp). My Avatar page: http://www.danonderdonk.c.../index.htm
:shudders: The images contained in that link are a big reason I am scared to post my picture on this website. I'm terrified you'll appropriate the image and make some crazy, scary avatar out of it! But looking at all those made me think that some gallery should do a show of avatars. It's like you have your own avatar collection. I bet there are all sorts of people who do the same thing. I could totally see that being a show in some trendy LA gallery. . [Edited 6/28/07 22:12pm] The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp. | |
