Yes! Good job. Have you seen it?

Identified movies:
1. Angel Heart (jizzinparis) 2. 3. Frantic (jizzinparis) 4. 5. Brazil (heartbeatocean) 6. 7. Pi (heartbeatocean) 8. 9. The Assassination Of Richard Nixon (Mushanga) Good work, guys. Clues for the rest: 2: Burt Lancaster is in it, and it's about a businessman going to a small town to buy it. British people should know this one. 4: It's a biopic. The pictures on the wall give you a hint to the theme. 6: Low-budget, but very good sci-fi about a robot. 8: This movie was made up of two separate stories.

I'd like to repeat that everybody's welcome to add more pictures. It's not too difficult; just find a picture from a movie, rename the file, upload it and post it.

#4 is Bird ? #2 is Local Hero [Edited 6/27/07 23:32pm] [Edited 6/27/07 23:32pm] Correct again. Damn you're good at this, jizzy. I pronounce you the clear winner of my competition. Congratulations! As for the remaining two, which were apparently too difficult for everybody even with the clues: number 6 is Hardware (I figured that we have a lot of sci-fi buffs here and anyone who's seen it should remember his funky arm and the psychedelic shower scene) and number 8 is Storytelling (except for Grindhouse, I can't really think of any other movies that are made up of two completely separate stories, and most film buffs have seen Solondz' movies Happiness and/or Welcome to the Dollhouse so I figured someone might know this one too).

Yeah Angel Heart and Frantic were easy. The others more difficult. And the last two you have mentioned, i didn't know these movies. And about heartbeatocean's quizz, i have absolutely no clue emo edit [Edited 6/28/07 1:58am]

As for heartbeatocean's images I would have guessed the same as ufoclub on 1 and 2, but the rest I have no idea.

That makes it even more impressive. It's a fantastic movie, in its very own simple and low-key way. There's no big "dramatic action" but the dialogue and characters are very well written and the acting is exceptionally good. It's really unfortunate that a lot of people probably got put off (or misled) by the title expecting it to be a political thriller, because it definitely isn't.
