i think the refrigerated soy milk is FAR better than the non-refrigerated stuff, for starters. 8th Continent or Silk from the cooler has never done me wrong. and even the cruddy soy milks are good with cereal. shrug

You have? It's ok if it's fermented, like the way it's used in tofu. Otherwise it's way too genetically modified, and has been reported to cause cancer and a variety of other problems. My dad was going through a soy milk phase...I did some research and found all this out. I knew MILK derived from a BEAN couldn't be any good.

I don't eat cereal. Or when I do, it's granola with yogurt. I actually hate milk except for in my tea and for cooking with.

it's REALLY clumpy. lol

seriously, you have to shake and shake the shelf stuff, and even then you still get big globs of goo at the bottom. that doesn't happen with the refrigerated stuff, plus it tastes smoother to me. my problem with soy milk when i was first starting to drink it was that it was a little grainy. i think Silk/8th Continent has improved on that a lot. nod

I personally have grown to like Soy Milk. It's great on cereal, in coffee, etc.

My only beef with it is that it replaces a bad, what I consider unnatural habit for grown mammals, and that's drinking cows milk. Instead of learning to eat or drink differently, we just came up with a processed way of replacing the substance. lol

actually, i drink more soy milk than i do regular milk! i'm a little afraid to cook with it, but i've gotten to a point where i can enjoy a glass of good soy milk just as much (maybe more) than regular milk.

but there IS a lot of nasty ass soy milk out there. lol

Actually, chicken is the one thing I've cut out completely. I don't remember the last time I ate chicken. It actually disgusts me now. I still eat beef, bacon and seafood on occasion. But it's fairly rare.

omgosh....if I eat pork... my stomach hurts. I only crave beef every now and then.

The beef and bacon I crave once a month or so. I don't eat any other pork product, but there's something about bacon. It's shameful, I know.

I think I could happily be a seafood vegetarian, or whatever you want to call it. I looooove seafood. But too much of that isn't good either, so whatever. lol
