SHOW ME A WORK OF ART!

Show me a work of art that you like from an artist.

I'll start.

H.R. Giger. Very repetitious, and oversexed at times, but I love it despite.

I had a chance to see a lot of Van Gogh's stuff a few weeks ago. It was great. In front of an original, you really get a sense of use of color much more so than in print.

Like, Giger there's eroticism and phallic imagery all over his stuff. It's even apparent in that picture. Unlike Giger, it's a celebration of sexual power, rather than a perversion of it. I'm jealous you got a print. I should have forked out the money. I hope he grows his gallery cause it's wonderful stuff.

I love looking at this picture, it's so romantic and erotic! Just the way the man touches the woman's face! Amazing!

To tell you the truth, I don't know lol . This piece is located in upstate New York and there are many pieces by Calder in this outdoor museum. I remember that I read that he liked having them outdoors because there were no height limitations. It showed because The Arch is humongous.
