The WWE knows now as there is basically nothing on wwe.com about Beniot, (yesterday there was countless tributes) and instead of more tributes on ECW & Smackdown! they are going foward with the show.

And he was a celebrated WWE fixture. One thing that puzzles me most about this affair is why his wife was bound by the legs and hands , Benoit wouldn't have needed to do that to over power her . It almost begs the question was there some sexual element beforehand that went wrong and resulted in her death .

A tragedy anyway , whatever occurred .Benoit was a superb wrestler , what he lacked in promo deliveries he more than made up for with his in-ring work . Its sad that to many he'll now be famous for being a double-murderer when he should always have been remembered as a brilliant wrestler .

RIP Chris's family . Maybe somewhere somehow Chris will find peace too

yeah it seems they had their share of troubles in the past, she at one stage got a restraining order against him and filed for divorce, but later decided not to.
WWE has completely severed all ties with Beniot after all the murder talk came out

I did not want believe this was true. I kept hoping it was one of those wacky internet hoaxes. Sh!t - dude just snapped. I just saw on the news anabolic steroids were found in the home, but it'll take weeks for the toxicology reports to come out.

Vince has even come out at ECW and said that he was sorry about the Tribute show, which is a bit extreme if u ask me, ok so it looks like he has actually murdered his wife and son, but think about all the other kids out there who idolise this guy! if u just go out and say it up front that he did that kids will loose all faith in him.
Sure maybe put something on the WWE website but not on TV where kids have more access to, i mean ok sure this example isnt on par with this one, but when Eddie died there was soo much respect for him, but with Beniot they have just pretty much had their goodbye and now they r pretty much saying Chris Benwho? or just gonna say bad things about him, i wonder if there will b other wrestlers out there like Rey Mysterio who was good friends of him, will he be wearing an arm band like he did for a while after Eddie died? or will WWE ban people from doing that?

I don't see any problem with the fact that they did a Tribute programme to Benoit on Monday . Anyone following this story as it broke online knows that
there was about a 2 hr difference between the first reports appearing and Monday Night Raw being broadcast live . All Vince Mcmahon and his production team could've known for sure is that one of thier best and most popular wrestlers along with 2 members of his family had been found dead . Clearly from the tributes shown on Raw the wrestlers were in no emotional state to actually perform , and Vince had an obligation to his viewers to break the news as well as produce some programming . Only by the time Raw was finishing airing were there more details appearing that it seemed that Benoit had committed the murders . In hindsight its hugely unfortunate timing for the WWE but they shouldnt be held to blame for it .

im not blaming them for anything, im just saying they coulda handled it a lot better than the way they have, come on a lot of the audience is children, and its not good for them to hear their favourite WWE superstar has lost it and murdered his son and wife and then killed himself.
Im not saying what he did was right, but theres a lot we dont know for certain just yet, they coulda held off the hostility until at least the toxicology tests come back.
But then again knowing Vince his probably tryin 2 build his character back into a heel again or sumthin....

Bob Ryder at 1wrestling.com recently spoke with close friends and confidants of Chris Benoit, there were apparently warning signs that something was wrong with Benoit. One person who wanted to remain nameless said:

"This wasn't roid rage, this was insanity. Roid rage doesn't last for 48 hours. There were signs that something was wrong. Stories have emerged that a year ago he became paranoid and believed he was being followed. He wouldn't let Nancy leave the house because he believed someone was out to get them."

“Chris hated religion. He didn't believe in it. I cannot comprehend him putting bibles by the bodies. I am shocked.”

In addition to this 1wrestling.com also learned that Nancy Benoit had a safety deposit box with evidence of past rages. She set it up that if anything should happen to her, authorities would be able to check the box.

OH, WOW!!! FUCK ME!!!!! I can't say enough, considering the fact that I was once a "DIE HARD" "WWFanatic" (I despise their current name) until after they had went through "The 2001 Invasion Angle" ("OR", an even more accurate pick of my beginning-to-dislike-of-them period would as far back as when they had decided to "Get The "F" Out"). I may even go as far as to say that I was the biggest fan of their back-to-back programming and their whole federation/organization/corporate company. But, look at them now. They are seriously in their dying days. More people have died that were a product of this business than ever over these last couple of years, alone. "Chris Benoit" and then immediately after, "Sensational "Sherri Martel"!!! What is the world coming to, y'all? I see a big downfall coming. Not only for the "WWE", but for the whole wrestling industry. How careless has "Vince McMahon" been with the decisions over his company, especially when we see the fact the negative outcomes outweight the positives. "TNA" has" "GOTTA do something quick before the game is over. This is all just a sick, twisted nightmare that they may never wake up from.....PERIOD
