I am so sick of her. I don't feel that I have to justify my actions to her at all. She is not going to be included in everything in my married life and she needs to get used to it. | |

1) you have to tell her your feelings, that being that she doesn't like you. you're going to be spending (god willing) the rest of your life with her son, so the two of you will have to make some sort of peace. explain to her, that it was originally intended for your side of the family, and a couple of your close friends, and that given how she treats you, you don't want this special weekend to be focused on anything but those people around you that care about you. I disagree. When an in-law is being a pain in the ass, it is JUST FINE to hand them off to their child with the expectation that your (future) spouse will be your advocate.  oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1! | |
