How many of you... ...feel you're a lot smarter than almost everyone you encounter on a daily basis?
The other day at work, I was in the break room and my husband and I were talking about how much Nickelback sucks balls. Long story short, this little dumb ass sitting in the corner had the audacity to attempt to explain supply and demand to us as if we had no idea that the reason Nickelback must get so much radio play is because a good portion of people, for some ungodly reason, actually likes them. And my previous job working customer service? Don't even get me started. This one's for you.

Yes, you're smart dear. You don't need validation from us dummies.

I was looking for the comfort in knowing others of you are annoyed and pissed off the point of no return on a near-daily basis due to interaction with various idiots. Etc. This one's for you.

Yesterday I had to take my son to the doctor for his eczema. The doctor told me to use hydrocortisone even though I had just said that I had been using that and it wasn't working. Then she said to put vaseline on his skin to keep in the moisture. So, I asked her about Aquaphor. It's basically the same thing as vaseline, just thicker. She said she had never heard of it. Huh? It's pretty common and lots of parents use it for their kids. Everything I asked about she said she had never heard of. It was frustrating. I basically asked about prescription meds for eczema that I had researched and she gave me a prescription for one.
I left her office thinking to myself--didn't I just do her job? I have free healthcare, so I am fortunate, but I still think it's crazy that some doctors are so DUMB and then charge you a fortune for them to tell you NOTHING.

I was wondering if you were talking to your husband about Prince, for example, and someone said to you, Prince sucks balls, surely you would attempt to explain and have your say?

I wouldn't care that much. I'm not some bloody fanatic for any one. And the guy wasn't defending Nickelback, he was attempting to explain supply and demand. This one's for you.

Free healthcare would be nice. I generally throw out a $20 copay to walk in and ask for antibiotics. Well, when I have insurance. The rest of the time it's like, $60-$100, depending on where I go. This one's for you.

That sucks. My friend has two kids and she pays $40 co-pay to go to the doctor for each kid, then a $40 co-pay for prescriptions. Poor thing. Most parents know that when one of your kids gets sick the other one usually catches it within a few days. My kids stay sick practically all winter long. I could almost move into my doctor's office. I practically live there.

I want my plumbing removed before I go getting sentimental. This one's for you.

In my business ( heating & Air) I run into it daily, I won't even bother you with some of the horror stories that I have..just take comfort in knowing that you are not alone! I feel the same. I feel like I am surrounded by selfish, lazy, ignorant, ppl all day that lack common sense. I do not think I am smarter I just have common sense and respect for others around me. I accept ppl having differences of opinion- I do not accept laziness.

Ohhh I can be a lazy creature as well but not when it means someone else will have to do something for me because I am just too lazy. You don't even want to see my bedroom right now but I live alone so no one else will have to see it or clean it up for me.

You don't even want to see my bedroom right now but I live alone so no one else will have to see it or clean it up for me. Gotcha. Same here. And my bedroom seriously needs sorting out, too. I dread going into town on my lunch hour when I see the way others behave. People are so incredibly selfish, sometimes. Luckily, I have a mean-ass stare. That usually works.
