Why do men have to be such butts? Is it in there nature not to think about other's feelings, or think far enough of ahead in a situation to see how it might hurt others around him?

I say drop his ass. It's one thing to care but how much you want to be you are losing your time with him and will lose resources that should remain in your sphere instead of hers. If she can't get a grip on her baby daddy, it's not your mans responsiblity to pay for her fuck up.

He said he was just feeling sorry for her, because she has no family. I can see that..he is kind hearted. But I feel she is just trying to take advantage of his kind heart! He claims he lied to protect me, knowing it would hurt me.

But...I am only on day 4 dealing with this issue! Hopefully something will get resolved soon, because it's just making me sick! One part of me says..boot that boy to the curb, then that damn heart starts talking...and says, everyone makes mistakes!
