I was watching USA network the other night and saw the commercial for the wrestling program where they were going to pay special tribute to Vince. Now, I haven't followed the WWF for many years, since I was a child, but I remember Vince very well. So is this true, did he die or this all fake?

"Death" of Mr. McMahon
On June 11, 2007, WWE aired a segment at the end of RAW that featured McMahon entering a limousine moments before it exploded. The show went off-air shortly after, and WWE.com reported the angle within minutes as though it were a legitimate occurrence, proclaiming that McMahon was "presumed dead." Although this was the fate of the fictional "Mr. McMahon" character, no harm came to the actual person (that is, his death was part of a storyline).

I don't usually watch wrestling (I swear) but I saw a bit last night again and the "investigator" stated that DNA of Mr McMahon was found in the limo, along with that of another "prominant celebrity" But they didn't exactly say "dental records matched..."

but the truth is that he's alive and well, and the sad news is that Chris Benoit may have killed his wife, his 7 year old son and his wife over the weekend and finally himself yesterday.

i'm still in shock over it

may their souls rest in peace and hopefully their respective families can come through this all.

Bearing in mind the high fatality rate amongst WWE wrestlers it was an enormously stupid idea to stage a fake death at any time , its certainly come

Actually I think it did(not to be harsh), but apperently he(Vince) was ALIVE and well enough to be standing there and have a 3 hour tribute to Chris Boneit(sp) along with Chris's family(his wife and 7 y/o son) who died on June 25th.

IMHO, Vinces death was a storyline and nothing else.

Seriously though, there have actually been a lot of wrestlers that have died in the past couple years, Eddy Guerrero, Mr/ Perfect, and Ravishing Rick Rude to name a few.
