Have you ever noticed that people into porn cannot sustain relationships?

That's because they've cheapened the one thing that should be the superglue of a relationship.

Way to generalize there, buddy cool I'm into teh pr0n and I would be able to sustain a relationship IF I was in one, but since I'm not at the moment, a little self nookie ain't never hurt nobody.

Yes, I did generalize. I don't know of anyone who is into porn that has been able to maintain a long-term relationship. And so far, no one here has said they've been able to, either.

I'm telling you porn cheapens sex, and sex is supposed to be love, so if you inject porn into the equation, you cheapen love.

Porn doesn't cheapen sex, people do. When I was in a relationship, I didn't even look at pr0n. Why look at it and pay for it when I can get it anytime I want and for free, nawmsayin'?

seriously? lol maybe if by 'into porn' you mean addicted, but everyone who watches it? falloff

Why would anyone watch porn? For the jokes? The intricate plots? The inspired acting?

Porn is watched because the watcher is lacking either love or, more likely, self esteem.

Well, it seems you're agreeing with me in some respect. When you're in a healthy relationship, you don't need porn. I think we both agree on that, no?

Well, it depends. Some couples enjoy watching or making their own together. But my ex...Jesus..I was sinfully attracted to him. There was nothing I could find in porn that turned me on as much as him. But now that I don't have him, porn will do.

to get off. come on. rolleyes lol and let me prove you wrong here by saying that i have been in a long-term relationship that wasn't affected at all by porn. what's more interesting to me here is why you feel the need to belittle other people for enjoying themselves physically. hmmm what does self-esteem have to do with anything?

Have you ever watched porn with a "plot" The "acting"..oh lord...why? As soon as I put the tape or dvd on, there should be ass in my face within the first 4 seconds, or less. If I wanted porn with a plot i'd watch Showtime or Cinemax at night.

I think this is more about personal demons he has battled in regards to porn than anything else.

You know how some people think that simply because they went through something, everyone else MUST be going through or has gone through it as well?

Hell, does Cinemax even exist anymore? Didn't they get rid of it in the late 90's or something?

If someone brings that up, I want some distinction, dammit. I want to know if God says making it or watching it is the devil. Shit.

It is about personal experience. And from the responses everyone has given, it only solidifies in my mind that I am right.

Everyone is free to do what they choose, and I am not being judgemental, just observant. I do truly believe porn cheapens love, and makes a fulfilling longterm relationship pretty much impossible.

And if one doesn't have a fulfilling longterm relationship, where does one end up?

Alone.

Particularly if they have the gall to begin a sentence with the phrase, 'I'm telling you..'in which case the only thing one is telling me is that they are speaking from slanted, biased, blinded experience without the benefit of enlightenment wink .
