I'd say it goes both ways, but there seems to be a trend, and that trend is that women seem to be less shallow in the looks dep't, or that they value beauty less than men do. Maybe some women even see beauty as a detractor, thinking that that a beautiful man may be vain, shallow, or not trustworthy.

Women respond to looks, just like men do, but some women will look past a guy's hideous gut if he's funny, where a guy's more likely to overlook a bad sense of humor if she's beautiful.

true but I think that to some degree men and women are equally shallow, it really depends on the person.

What picture got rejected?
It must be very NSFW, if my bare ass gets approved and your avatar doesn't.

IMO when you first meet someone looks are really the only thing you have to go on. So, I think most people go on that physical attraction first. Once you actually get to know someone then you may not find that person attractive because they're a jerk or whatever.

I think most of us value looks to a certain extent. I think it's only natural. I personally couldn't be married to my husband if I wasn't physically attracted to him. We had instant physical chemistry.

Just my opinion. shrug

I completely agree. There are many people that I find physically attractive, but if they don't have the personality, that can make them very unattractive to me.

I sort of agree. I don't want to bed people solely on looks. But I'm not really one to care about that either. I fell in love with someone I'd never laid eyes on before. Luckily that motherfucker turmed out to be hot as hell. drooling

definitely, I'm just generalizing. And they're equally shallow in different ways. They make equally bad choices in mates lol

I agree.
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

I'm with you on this.

Looks may attract but personality is what keeps a person interested.

That's true. I have met guys that are really good looking, but they are rude and sometimes acts like jerks and they don't seem so cute once you get to know guys like that.
