I have been on the org for 5 yrs..never really posted, just lurked alot. But I was wondering...how did all of you get so close? It's like you all live in the same town!

A lot of us have been here for YEARS, a few from waaaaay back in ye olde black and purple days. Like any other social situation, when a group is around that long, connections are made and a community is formed.

I lurked forever too, mostly because I only checked the org every now and then (had a real life)...but then I was home pregnant and bored so I started to read more GD then eventually started to post about a year or so ago.

Now I am on this god damn site way too much.

Not that I have a million friends on here or anything of the sort, but after you post a few hundred times. People start to pay attention to you, will even respond to your posts. I have never met anyone from here, or spoken on the phone with anyone..but I have had some pretty deep personal conversations with some very sweet people on here. Tis a great bunch of people on here...well, mostly.
