annoying mf's @ THE GYM WHY do the most annoying people on the planet have to come right by YOU & disrupt your workout???
Tonight, I'm the only one in my corner of the gym. There's an entire row of 7 treadmills in front of me (and about 10 more across the way) & this idiot comes to the one directly in my path to work out. So now I got nowhere to look but his ass That's annoying enough, but he's prancing along like fucking Fred Astaire (sp?), taking these delicate little baby steps as if he's gonna break. He does this goofy looking shit the whole time Not to mention he's like 70, wears a ponytail & has the shit dyed auburn I just couldn't take the pretend running, it actually bothered me Then there's this lady who always manages to workout directly in front of me too. She does all kinds of acrobatics on the treadmill - spinning around in circles, waving her arms, doing little side bends & lunge type shit It's a goddamn CIRCUS when she's on the thing, my eyes don't need that shit There's gotta be at least 20 treadmills in the place - WHY must she get in front of ME & put on a damn show?? I know none of these mf's have anything to do w/ me & I should just ignore them. BUT dammit, they work my nerves. Just everybody a favor & don't be a distraction in the gym... & for the love of all that's holy don't invade the space of others if you don't have to! What do they feed off the energy of someone being right up under them or something?? It's bad enough watching Charmed & Buffy reruns on TNT all the friggin' time Carry on

this happens to me ALL THE TIME. i can be in a totally empty gym doing my little cardio thing and of COURSE some fool has to trot up to the machine RIGHT NEXT TO ME and they usually reek of some kind of eau de doodahday perfume which screws up my sinuses while i'm trying to breathe during my workout (go figure). i will NEVER understand this phenomenon, why when there's plenty of space for people to find their own little corner, they prefer being right up on your ass when you just want to do your workout in peace. i know some people think otherwise, but when i'm at the gym, it's not social hour!

I just do basic walking whenever I'm on it. I hate when people grab a machine right next to mine when there are plenty of open ones available too. Yesterday, I had a feeling this old man was staring at me from behind while I was on the treadmill. Maybe I'm just paranoid though I thought about going today, but my legs are kinda sore from working out all week. I hate going when it's packed too. What about people who don't spray and wipe down their equipment after they're done with it? I try to be considerate of those having to use the machines so I always grab a spray bottle and towel for when I'm done. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

It's really STRANGE, isn't it?? I actually HATE IT when the gym is full, it's just too damn cramped/sweaty/breathy That's WHY I go in the middle of the night So I can have it pretty much to myself (& the other 3-5 idiots insane enough to be up @ that hour). I just don't understand why people wanna be next to you or right in front of you. Taking up my AIR!!!

Luckily my gym finally got the spray bottles But when I go to a different one that doesn't have them (WHY wouldn't they??), I take a cannister of WIPES I know I look like a freak but fuck that, I don't want someone elses sweat on my hands!!! I saw a dude in there tonight with his wipes so I felt less neurotic

Taking up my AIR!!! you know i couldn't let this thread go by without mentioning this, but i don't think mr. gym etiquette goes to my gym anymore. i haven't seen him waddling around covered in wet towels in the past few months, THANK GOD. he was the worst, stumbling into the gym and turning off fans and changing the tv stations in a room full of people as if he were the only person there. jerk. now i just have to deal with the occasional lincoln park trixie choking me up with her britney spears fantasy perfume.

Its excellent if u have troubled joints as u are weightless. As a result though it doesnt burn as many calories. However, it does give a great all body workout. great for toning. if u tell me now that u cant swim i give up!

It can't be. I use a makeup remover wipe before & I wash my face after, seems like makeup would clog your pores
