Let me put it this way, even in non-tested competitions synthol use is a no-no. I know that to most people it really doesn't make a difference, but Greg is the most hated man in the bodybuilding community. He's an idiot. As for strenth is useless too. It's just oil, not muscle tissue.

As I lifter myself, I have more respect for the folks who do it clean. I know you have to lift hard even if you take steroids, but it's still cheating. Just my .02.

As for the other stuff, again, if you join a federation in which pretty much anything goes, how is it cheating? That's like a boxer joining the UFC and complaining about low kicks. If you don't like the rules you're free to join a different organization. Same for powerlifting...tested vs non-tested, suits vs raw etc ect.

It doesn't require much time at the gym. Most try to complete their work out within 90 minutes and they do that 4-5 times a week. Cardio-wise most don't do much if any cardio at all on the offseason. When preparing for shows it varies. Some rely soley on their diet others do up to two hours of cardio 4-5 times a week (1hr in the morning and another hour at night)...moderate intensity. Some need 16 weeks to prepare for a show others only 6. Sticking to your diet is the hardest. Roughly 6-8 meals a day (some go up to 10) and in preparation for a show it's calory restricted. Actually that Melissa Dettwiller chick someone posted a pic of (the blonde with the big tits), she's doing no carbs at all for up to 20 weeks to prepare for a show. Only carbs she gets are coming from veggies. Most of her energy comes from fats.

I'm in the gym four days a week(I don't compete). Now my schedule looks like this: Monday - Legs, calves, shoulders, cardio(@two hours) Tuesday - Cardio(40 min.) and a forearm workout Wednesday - Chest, triceps, cardio(@two hours) Friday - Back, biceps, cardio(@two hours) Abs every other day. Thursdays & weekends - OFF [Edited 6/24/07 17:13pm]

I'm coming in late, but, no, I don't find these women attractive. Nor do I find overly muscled men attractive. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Pro's definitely have the time. Besides, they prepare most of their food a day ahead. A meal can just be an 8oz piece of chicken breast with veggies. It's quite boring food most of the time, but as some say, they don't eat for taste. They eat to get big. I'm not saying the offseason is laid back, just that they do less cardio. Weight training actually picks up on the offseason, lifting heavier and more intense. You can't always train at maximum intensity anyway. You burn out that way. People who are serious about it always periodize. Intense training is never healthy. People think that because being active is good for your health that the more you do, the healthier it is and that's not necessarily true. Not when it comes to cardio and not when it comes to weight lifting.

Yeah, I see cats on a six-day schedule(working out twice a day). I don't know how they do it, because I need time to recover after intense workouts. They're big though.
