Why is it cheating if everyone's doing it and not being secretive about it? There's a reason there are two different types of contests, so people can choose. I'll tell you one thing though, you'll only find cheaters at the so-called natural shows because the rules are that you can't use if you compete those shows and many people still do. They just mask and make sure the illegal substances have cleared out of their body before they go on stage.

As far as death wish goes, I think you should watch the HBO special on the risks of steroids. I think you can find it on Daily Motion or YouTube. It's potentially dangerous and there are a lot of risks involved, however it's been largely exaggerated and there still isn't any hard scientific evidence. As they say, there certainly are risks, but reports on it in the media have not been based on scientific evidence.

I have respect for all male and female bodybuilders, drug free or juiced up. Using steroids does not necessarily make things that much easier. Without discipline and hard work you're still not going to look the best you can and that's what this lifestyle is all about. Even if you compete, that's all you can do, trying to look the best you can. You can't control what someone else looks like, so why worry about what they're doing? Focus on yourself and make the improvements you feel you need to make.

I have all the respect in the world for a bodybuilder's commitment and dedication...it takes a lot of work to become world class like them....but poking a little fun at them isn't a crime...any more than one of them calling me a bitch because I only bench press 225 when they're working out with 500 is a crime...I'm sure that there would be many "fat American women" who would have a cow if a female bodybuilder called them out like that, but could they honestly argue with someone who is in such top physical condition making that assessment? I liken it to when my Command Sergeant Major (top enlisted leader in a unit) critiques my leadership methods (I'm a platoon sergeant)....it'll piss me off royally, but can I really argue with the assessment, judging where its coming from?
