Not be afraid to show affection is a must-have I've spoken to a few Canadians about it and it bothers me, that many of them will not show affection in public.
I'm not talking about sex in public, but a hug, or a kiss, or even just an admiring look at one another. Some of them told me that it's sort of a taboo or whatever. that it should be kept indoors. Such a shame, because it's so beautiful here and the sight of lovers sitting on a bench at lake is so beautiful.

Aside from that, he should be kind, intelligent, and have a broad scope of interests, partcularly anything related to art, culture, and ....FOOD ...

I married well. Alex remembers nearly everything I say, even when I consider that I told him something utterly insignificant, months later he will recall it or bring me home a surprise. He's loyal like a dog, and he nearly makes me piss myself sometimes in laughter. He'll do anything to make me laugh, no matter how inappropriate the joke has to be, and generally the more immature and inappropriate the funnier I find it. His mother once asked him why he doesn't just grow up after we were laughing our heads off at a nice dinner when Alex said something ignorant, and he said, "Well, never. Cos I do anything to make my wife laugh." Nicest thing I ever heard.
