I dont think I could handle the stress of a big wedding. Something small with a few guests on the beach would be so romantic

Me fantasy wedding would be BOTH our families, at the same time. Sadly, that seems unlikely. Them, Redbaby, JD and whatever friends MM chooses. That's it. Nothing fancy, and there BETTER be no tears or corny speeches.

Based on personal knowledge, big expensive shiny wedding ceremonies often lead to big expensive not so shiny divorces....with huge debt as a kicker.....could just be a coincidence....especially since I know lots of folks who went to City Hall and let the Justice of the Peace do 'em up for fifty bucks....and spent the real bucks on the honeymoon....and they're still together....

as for me....when wifey and I do the reaffirming of vows thing, I'd like to be on the beach of some off the beaten path island...a few folks.....nothing major...just us, the sun, the beach, the ocean.....

Mine's simple... being able to GET married. How bout some shit like that!?

I've never really thought about it seriously.
I always liked the wedding of Casey and Perry Ferrel in "Gift".
I like the idea of an utterly private ceremony with just the two of us and someone to officiate, somewhere beautiful, have the honeymoon right away and throw a big party/reception later when we get home.
And I look awful in white, so whoever wants to marry me had better be OK with something a bit non-traditional.

My fantasy wedding is one that doesn't cost $17,000, and is done naturally in the open air.

Weddings are a bore to me.

I hated the thought of having one.

So I just had my mom make my dress, and we had IMMEDIATE family at the church and then had a picnic in his dads garage.

Then with the money we SAVED on the wedding, we went to the Bahamas.
