Birds in my Walls! Can you believe it?
A pair of birds found a crevice beneath the air conditioner in my living room wall, and built a nest. Now we have this incessant chirping from the baby birds and it sounds like they're inside the wall! The thing is...they're so loud, that we can't even watch television in peace! As soon as they mature and fly away I'm sealing up the crevice. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

i have a squirrel that chewed its way into my windowsill in front of my desk. since it's summer and the little bastard is so cute sleeping in the space between my window and my screen window, i'm gonna let him hang out there till the end of the summer, then gripe to the landlord about it. plus my cat LOVES it...it's like cable tv for kitty.

Last fall, a squirrel tore holes into 2 of our patio chair cushions to get at the batting inside. My wife was sooooo mad! Those damned cushions are, like, $40-60 apiece!!!! Anyway...talk about Karma...last week we found a dead squirrel at the bottom of our pool. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

There's only one way to get rid of birds in your walls. You need to put a cat in your floorboards.
Of course, then you'll have a problem with the cat in your floorbaords. Which means you'll have to sew a dog into your upholstery. I'm not sure how to get rid of your upholstery-dog problem...

Good for you for waiting till they leave on their own and good for you for realizing that you need to repair where they got in.
I wish more people dealt with wildlife like this.

This stray cat has been staying around on our deck for a few days now, and these birds have been following it around harassing it, chirping all of the time. It's really annoying looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

good for you purplejedi, for having the mercy to wait until the bird matures before handling the situation. they should be gone in a couple of weeks

He's sleeping with the fishes....see.....did he have four little cement shoes on? He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

But they're songbirds whose only crime is happiness. (ok I stole that quote from David Sedaris) "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

My parents have birds in their walls and sometimes field mice.. it pisses me off, cos they trip the doorbell wire and when I am at theirs home alone, it freaks me out, esp at night - the house, as people said was haunted.. but I think when we moved in we scared the ghosts away I will love you forever and you will never be forgotten - L.A.F.
