Ceiling Fans

Who hates them?

wave me! It the first thing I did when we moved in our home... took down the fans and replaced them with track lighting! wink

I'm 6'3" and the ceilings are 8' so the fans were hazadous to my head/hair do!

They were the kind that hung down on a stick, antique brass and wood ill That is not gay- they had to go! I put them out for the trash and someone within mins picked them up... I guess they weren't gay. lol
Socks still got butt like a leather seat...

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Well I do like that one! It would go with our art deco interior but that stick would be the death of me! biggrin

I love the ceiling fan in my bedroom. We don't have central air in the house so it is absolutely needed in the summer smile

If not for my ceiling fan, I'd have nowhere to mount my handlebars.

Besides, they're great for collecting dog hair and depositing them in one neat pile in the middle of the floor where they whirl around like some fuzzy tornado. I only have to walk under the ceiling fan and pluck up any furry tumbleweeds. Practical things, those ceiling fans.

I fucking love the shit out of my cealing fans.
They allow me to keep my house at a temperature at least 5 degrees warmer than I would keep it due to the slow continuous breeze they provide.

I have them in 3 of my rooms, and plan to place them in all the remaining rooms but the foyer, laundry, and kitchen.

My ceilings are vaulted and very tall though, so there's generally no danger of them hitting your head.

I love ceiling fans, but considering I can reach me own ceiling flat footed, no heels (and I'm only 5'5") I couldn't have one in my current place. It would hang about eye level with me. confused

I don't particularly care for them, but there are some rooms in which they're more or less indispensible.
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I have 3 ceiling fans in my home and I love every one of them, but I'm also only 5'4", so I don't bump my head on them. razz
