BLOODY AWFUL FATHER'S DAY! Well, not too bad a start for the day. My Hubby slept in and I made him a cup of tea. We got ready and the kids and went for breakfast at Sainsburys. We then went out for about 4 hours. We get home I cook a lovely chicken dinner with all the trimmings. He relaxes playing his computer games and the kids play in the garden.
He then decides to have a bath and has found a lump in his chest. It is hard about the size of a small pea and it has knocked us for six. We are visibly shaken at this because his Father died about a year ago due to cancer. I have said that he is to go to the Dr tomorrow but my hubby doesn't want to cancel the holiday in case the Dr says that he has to have a biopsy. I said bugger the holiday he is more important. To say that I haven't shed some tears today is an understatement! Please forgive my over anxiousness of the situation its also because my son in law (who is just 26) found a lump in his chest and has 18 months to live. He has 3 small children. I don't know how I will cope with it all. [Edited 6/17/07 15:48pm] [Edited 6/17/07 15:48pm] "I may not agree with what you say but I'll fight for your right to say it"

Aww! I'm sorry to hear that.
But it is better to be safe than sorry, so sending him to the doctor is a good choice.

Make him go 2 the doctors nag him make appointment and drag him 2 doctors if that don’t work offer him sex every night for a year (that should work) do anything 2 persuade him to go 2 the doctors. The lump may be nothing but should be checked ASAP, if the doctor wants a specialist 2 see it then tell him about ur holiday they will work around the date. I hope all is ok

Wow... I'm so sorry to hear this. Like Katt said, MAKE him go. It's vital to get it early should it prove to be malign. My thoughts will be with you hoping for it to be benign.

Oh my- bless your hearts! So this lump was just discovered yesterday? I don't mean to sound light because I understand your concern, but I bet it isn't anything major. My mother had a lump a few years back that scared us all and turn out to be a clogged milk duck. The Dr removed it but other than than it was nothing. This can also happen to men. He may have an ingrown hair. I've had two ingrown hairs that resulted in pea sized lumps. He needs to see his Dr asap but I have a feeling all will be fine.

It's probably nothing, but whatever it is you found it and can take care of it. No More Haters on the Internet.
