The World Of Soap Operas!

Yeah, ok I am listening to a soap opera on TV and the guy is telling the woman,
"Once we get married then you and your mom won't have to worry about anything"
He's all like, "You won't need to work anymore".
What?! What kind of ideas are that? Also, where can I find a man like this in real life? (just kidding!)
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

OK...are you watching a Sopa Opera, or a telenovela?

Because as you know, Latin novelas all have one basic theme; a variation of the Cinderella story.
- beautiful woman is poor/downtrodden
- woman meets handsome, rich man
- they fall in love
- rich man's family tries to destroy woman
- man and woman are in peril of losing each other forever
- a shaman, butler/maid or some sort of older person intervenes
- they marry and live happily ever after

I've only watched a few novelas in my life...but it's the same basic theme.

I love General Hospital especially Sonny. He's a gangster that runs the mob, has had every woman in town and they've all got babies by him, there's always violence and sex on this show biggrin

I love GH, I've been watching it for about 15yrs now, in the last few years I havent been able to watch as much as I would like to but I catch it when I can.

But no one can take me away from novelas, I guess its kind of tradition in our family to watch these. From my great grandmother to my daughter we have all watched novelas. I try to at least catch one of the three that come on in the evening here is my favorite right now Destilando Amor

Rhythm floods my heart♥The melody it feeds my soul
