Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop at work. At home completely different styles and mediums. Windsor & Newton Inks and of course the trusty Magic Markers!
Depends on what I am drawing - agressive work - oil pastels and black black pens or dark lead pencils..

First I draw a Skeleton on a dry-erase whiteboard, then I photograph him digitally. I can't afford the likes of PhotoShop, so all my post-processing is done in PhotoImpact, which, if you ask me, is almost as powerful--all my art and my entire site are done with PhotoImpact.
...micron pens. i bought a pack of 7 just the other day. they're awesome 4 cartooning and stuff. and now, 4 u: what are your weapons of choice? I do most of my work on the computer, but tracing my original drawings is what gives the skeletons their original cartoon-ish feel. I did some on the computer without drawing them first and they were just...lifeless. Fear is the mind-killer.

I saw on "Ripley's" one time about an artist who creates his paintings with his own vomit. He eats different color foods then sticks his finger in his throat and aims tward the canvas. After he's all done, he coats it with polyurathane (sp) Is that you? All Rights Reserved. |

Moderator | Once a year I like to use chalk at our local steet painting festival.
But I use whatever I usually can get my hands on. Number 8 pencils are probably my favorite though [This message was edited Thu Sep 19 13:50:41 PDT 2002 by yamomma] All Rights Reserved. |

Very impressive. I wish you had a good overhead shot. From the angle, you must be barely 5 feet 5... [This message was edited Thu Sep 19 13:52:01 PDT 2002 by Aerogram]

Moderator | Thanks Aerogram,
Actually the painting was 12 ft X 12 ft. and I took some of the pictures on an 8 ft ladder. One of the photographers were granted access to the rooftops of the buildings to take better pictures but I lost his card to order the print. I'm sure I'll see him this year though. I think I'll paint my new baby boy this year. All Rights Reserved. |

Acrylic's (fast drying, permanent) , Gouache (extremely versatile and fast drying), pencils (at times), extra fine pens (all colors) , Crayola's , Crayola Markers (I work with children) , all the fun stuff teacher's get to use, you name it.
I did a Matisse Reproduction for my Master study, it's in my profile.

Moderator | Thanks Freespirit,
I'll see if I can find time to upload all the other ones tonight. My favorite pic is of when I did the girl with the green eyes from that one National Geographic cover back in the 80's. The Afgan refuge. I made the front page of the paper with that one. The photographer had a bigger ladder too! All Rights Reserved. |

Moderator | I'm currently using Acrylic paints, doing murals in all the classrooms at church.

Berol Prismacolor are the absolute best! I've loved these as long as I can remember. A few years ago I shelled out a shitload of money for a set of 120 or so but it was so worth it. They're accurate, the colors blend beautifully and the quality is unbeatable. I think I'm gonna bust mine out right now. I haven't used them in quite some time.
