We met at a bush party over memorial day weekend. I was in the mud pit mud wrestling with a friend.
It was up by the county water resevoir and when we were done he took us all in his truck down to the resevoir to get cleaned up.
Later that night everyone else was in their tents and cars sleeping and this one dude with a mullet wouldn't leave me alone, so I went over to my husbands truck and asked him if I could sleep with him. So I did.
Nothing happened.
The 2 weeks later a buch of us were going to Ocean City MD. and he was also going along. Everyone was leaving to go dowm around 6 pm and I had to work until 11 cuz I was running a TM office at taht time. He said he'd wait for me and take me down.
So we get there and after some X the rest is history. giggle

Doing laundry. And, no, that's not code for anything freaky or even interesting. He was sittin' there lookin' cute waiting for his drawers to dry. I walked in lookin' like a surly bitch needin' to warsh my drawers.

In a Khao San Road bar in Thailand, saw this girl who worked in a guesthouse nearby.

Forget the skanky, short skirt, low cut top girls prancing around, this girl was special, dancing merrily around in her 3 inch sole sneakers and a long denim skirt, tripping off her tits on amphetamines. mushy lol I hardly said a word to her but she hung around our table and I saw the way she was. I didn't know what it all was until my friend nearly threw away her email address and I was on that scrap of paper like a flash. The rest is history. Was it all romantic? No, not really, but anyone who meets Mon will understand why I was diving for that piece of paper and why I married her and want to spend my life with her.

Okay..here we go..

I met my hubby when I was 15 years old, through a mutual friend of ours. We were in high school, like I said I was 15, he was 18. He was my first true love, my first everything. We dated for a little while and then had a terrible, terrible car accident that almost took my life. Well at that age in a teenagers mind, it was too traumatic and too stressful for Darren to handle mentally, thinking that he almost killed someone he loved, so things happen and we split up. Tore my heart out to..I loved him to no end...but life went on, we never talked to each other from the night we broke up on...that was until..5 yrs ago this coming Oct. ( which is ironically the same month we broke up in in 1985). I was online one night ( on yahoo chat) in a room from Tennessee, and what do I see, but this "ghost" from my past Darren Poteet ( name right there, bigger than life), soooo I immediately clicked on it..and ask him where he was from ( just in case I had the wrong person), he replied "Chattanooga", to which I replied "Do you mean McDonald"..and he was like "who in the world is this"..I wrote.."oh boy, you are NOT gonna believe this one".."I said it's me Suzy"..and I proceeded to ask if he was still married to Linda ( which is a whole other story y'all would flip if you heard that part of this ordeal), anyways...he says NO..and I myself was in the middle of a divorce.

So we took that as fate...that what once was, was meant to be. We started seeing each other again ( at first only on the weekends, cause I lived over 100 miles away), but then it got to be more and more, til I gave up my job and moved in here with him. ( it was Oct of 2002) I moved in January of 2003, we married
in Oct. of 2003. So it had been 17yrs from our last conversation to the time we talked again..and in that yr from 2002-2003, we found that we never truly stopped loving each other..( maybe that's why we were never truly happy with others? hmmm) So we married on Oct 18, and soon we will be celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary!! heart heart

how's that for romantic?..lol

I forgot to mention that when we were teenagers..we were sittin on the porch listening to Prince (the beautiful ones) and the part that says..If we got married ..would that be cool?..well that's the round about way, he let me know that he wanted to marry me someday...and then when we had started talking again online..he typed those words to me and my heart just melted... giggle

At a friend's party. I thought he was utterly foul. And by foul, I mean I was disgusted by him. However, we discovered we enjoyed some of the same games, got to talking, exchanged YIMs. Yahoo turned into phone conversations and we found ourselves calling one another (though him more than me) to talk about random funny things that happened to us or just to shoot the shit in general.

Which turned into talking every night before bed. Which found me in his living room, which found me also slightly unimpressed, but the fucker grew on me like a cancer!

I didn't know I liked him until one time we were hanging out, watching a movie, and he laid his pretty little head in my lap. The rest is history, though. Two weeks later the fucker told me he loved me and one day we'd get married, and it was okay that I didn't tell him back cos one day I would. lol Confident swine. But goodness I do love him. With every bloody fiber of my being.
This one's for you.

lol

See? That's how I think it'll happen. It'll probably be something completely mundane or completely weird. giggle I don't think it'll be 'my friend's friend blah blah blah' or 'I was in this club etc etc etc'.
