Which fast food joint has the best value menu?

I'm talking $ 1.50 U.S. and below! I don't feel like cooking and don't want to go to the atm and have 3.80 cents on me right now. Usually I go to Wendy's cause i can get a Baked Potato, 1/4 double stack, a cesar side salad and a cup of water for $3.20. But I feel like something different.

Del Taco is Ok - but doesn't get you full enough and the Mcdonalds Value Menu Sucks. I know that El Pollo Loco has a value menu but I have not tried it. So any suggestions are helpful. Remember I have basically 4 dollars to get 2 to 3 food items with so help a brother out.

As far as I can tell Wendy's is your best bet... a cup of water karmaT hmm is that because you eat there?

Damn that's a good deal!!

The closest we get at Wendy's here is a Caesar side salad for 1.99, Baked potato I think is 1.79, and a quarter pound burger? forget about it. The Wendy's classic quarter pounder without cheese is like 2.89 on its own.

Why don't you just debit your transaction and go wherever you like?

Damn! eek

A double whopper bacon & cheese meal here is about $7.50.

Just a Big Mac on its own is $2.50 - how does that compare?

At least they deliver though. shrug

it's the same here for a double whopper meal but the only thing you get more of is the fries and drink, the burger isn't any bigger.

No. We have the "value menu. Everything's between 1.39 and 1.99

That's about the only time I ever ate white castle. lol

I really have cut fast food out of my life, except for the occasional food court visit if I'm power shopping and hungry.

i'm serious about this:

if i ever decide to stop being a vegetarian, i'm buying a big bag of white castles and eating them all in one big chomp.

why?

a) because i actually MISS those nasty bastards; and

b) i want a reaction to eating meat that will really make me re-think my return to carnivore-dom. lol

I don't care to much for fast food. But some far, I've found Sonic in LA to be alright.
